besides, many airports actually use one set of runways for take off and a different set for landings.
So, having his camera pointed at the "leave the ground" point of the take-off runway means that he probably didn't get many (if any) landings.
Personally, I think that the plan pointed ni the other direction is taxi-ing toward either the takeoff lane or the terminal. It's not landing...
I am surprised that there is not more "noise" with planes in the background, near the terminal.
