Should I use Blogger or Wordpress?

Blogger works for me very well. The features kept on innovating from time to time. I've also seen a lot used this site for their blogging purposes. However, I haven't tried using Wordpress but I can see that Blogger is still on top ranked when it comes to blogging.

One more vote for Blogger. Although the recent changes have made it a little more annoying, and it is a Google property. But it's pretty useful, especially if you use a Custom Domain and pick a nice template for it. 

Wordpress.com has a lot more limitations. You have to pay up if you want to do any basic customizations.

And like everyone said, Wordpress (wordpress.org) is a totally separate animal - like installing SMF on your own server. It has its benefits but is also a constant target for hacking. It can also be very slow and they pump out new versions of the software about every day, so good luck with that fancy theme you install.
