That question has been answered on the PfaBB site. After SMF's release, there will e a new version of the portal to work with it.

I have been looking all over... what is the target release date?

I am a phpBB user and I will need to be able to convert from phpBB2.0.5 if that is possible.

Good work guys, looks good.

But... one big thing, maybe it's very personal, but I don't like the very big avatars some people use. I know you can limit it's size (in YaBB SE) but it looks very messy.

But I'm very interested in having the first release, to test it!

The Avatar system has been, and is currently, undergoing a large amount of revision.

Wow, it's so different from Yabb SE, it looks basically exactly the same as Yabb SE with same features from what i can see.

Also, what is with Simple Machines? $:-\$ ...weird name i must say.

Overall, i dont see the reason for a whole new forum when it looks the same, and has same features.

Exactly. As Overseer wrote: read first before you spam ahm post.

The layout and the sources have changed a lot. I think this can easily be seen by anybody who is a little interested in the forum program...

Don't worry about it though - everyone's free to ahve their own opinino about the software.

Also, keep in mind that what you're seeing isn't nearly all of what's in store. We opened things up early so you could see the growth
