Quote button disappeared...
oOTrentOo:
So I let one of my forum members edit the scripts and stuff and now the quote button is gone. He doesn't remember what he changed... :/
I was wondering if any of you guys knew how to fix this? Any help is appreciated.
Arantor:
Did he disable the quote bbc in Admin > Forum > Posts and Topics > Bulletin Board Code, because that would disable the quote button.
Failing that, don't edit the base files without a backup! If it's not the above, it'll be the Display.template.php file but without seeing what damage has been inflicted upon it, can't really help you any more than point you in the direction of the file.
oOTrentOo:
Okay, so I looked at the BBC and it was all disabled. However, I re-enabled it but the quote button is still not there. It's there when you're replying to the topic, but it's not on other people's posts.
Arantor:
*shrug* Could be a modified template, no idea without knowing what else has been screwed up to be honest.
oOTrentOo:
YES I FIGURED IT OUT. He didn't change the scripting, he installed a mod restricting users with a certain post count from quoting. Then proceeded to set the post count to 0, so nobody could quote.
