No Pictures with windows XP

hi,

I use SMF 2.0.2 but I can`t see posted pictures on a windows XP machine (sp3)
When I use a other pc with for example windows 7 I see the posted pictures.
I use the file repair_settings.php but no result.

Somebody a tip?

What browser are you using?

If your images are JPEG made with the CMYK color model, many versions of IE can't display them. You should use GIMP or Photoshop to convert them to RGB color model. Possibly some other browsers will also have problems with such images. Older versions of IE will also have trouble with PNG images with an alpha channel, but you should still see most of the image.

Better still, use sRGB  :)

I use IE 8
The images are .gif / jpg files uploaded to our own server (uploadscript)
Is; sRGB an addon?
