Why would he keep this a secret?

Exactly. They built the pyramids, coliseum, parthenon, stonehenge, etc with much less technology than he had.

Once we know the secret it will seem so simple.

I would love a peek myself. I can't help but wonder if he did write it all down and left some sort of coded or encrypted clue that no one ever saw or realized what they were looking at. :)

I live close to a number of granit quarries.
I always kid my wife and son that I'm going out to one of the quarries and start practicing moving big rocks until I learn the secret. ;)
