Short Urls

(1/5) > >>

MrCue:
Is it apache 2.0 only?
How does one go about making it work.

David:
Just check the box, as long as you are using Apache, and they will enable themselves.  Doesn't require Apache 2.

pulpitfire:
i think it may also require certain versions of php.  some don't handle buffers well, and i think the short urls use the buffer.  i have apache, and checked the box, but can't get it to work.  i was also unable to use Anguz's first Smart Url mod, because it buffered info.  He made a second version which is non buffering, and it works great.  he may make a url mod for SMF too. :)

MrCue:
When i run it it gives me a 404 in the "access.log" and in "No input file specified" the browser.
Apache: 1.3.14
PHP: 4.3.4

Spaceman-Spiff:
i'm also getting that "No input file specified", no clue why, using Apache 1.3.28 & PHP 4.3.2
can someone tell me the exact requirements, so i can ask my host
