Help with moderators

Ok, so I got SMF up and running and I came to a little problem.

I need local moderator groups to see private boards, I read that that can be done by making new moderator groups and assigning them that option which I did, but the problem is that group now has global moderator rights, I just don't know how to disable them option that they can moderate all topics which I don't need.

Thanks in advance

I've tried reading that thing a bit and I copied exact permissions as the moderators have, but, yeah, didn't solve my problem

Kindred:
well, of course.... if you have granted them moderator permissions in the membergroup, then is will be globally applied.

For a specific board, you would have to use a permissions profile to that board and give the group permissions in that profile only.

Esc4toN:
Can you explain that a bit more please? Basically the only thing I need is to allow local moderators to see private boards, nothing more.
