Stats page going crazy with page views?

Not sure what's going on, but I don't think its very possible to get 126,000 page views one day and 23,000 the next, when your Google Analytics says you only got 1,000...and there were no special links or a higher most online. Any idea what's going on? Most online for both days was only around 100.

Does Google Analytics measure each page?
Maybe people are browsing and refreshing?

Not sure, but the crazy spikes wouldn't be explained by that either way.

It's possible that your getting a bot from the same IP view the pages over and over, as far as I know Google analytics logs based on IP.

Has this issue calmed down or is it still occurring?
