converting to another language after building forum

I would like to set up a Simple Machines forum for a Chinese colleague. Can I set up the forum in English (I don't speak Chinese), make all the administrative tweaks, and then convert the administrative end and the forum itself into Chinese?

Hi, welcome to SMF! :) Yes you can, it's actually very easy to do that. ;D Just make sure you install the Chinese language pack after installing the forum in English, set the forum default language to Chinese and make sure you have converted the group titles to Chinese and you're done. :) You might want to check this out, though:

Thanks for your quick response! I just want to make sure of one thing... I know that I can change the language for people who use the forum, but will my Chinese colleague also see the administrative end in Chinese?
