2.0 RC5 to 2.0.2

I currently have a forum at 2.0 RC5. I’m planning on moving servers and wanted to upgrade to 2.0.2 while I did this. What is my best approach?

A new install of 2.0.2 pointing to the current database? I plan on removing any mods and themes before the move.

Thanks for any insight.

Personally I would suggest upgrading before you move, there have been bug and sql fixes since 2.0 rc and 2.0.2

Thanks. Been a while since I’ve made any changes to the forum and I wasn’t sure if I could upgrade straight from 2.0 RC5 to 2.0.2. Gave it a try and everything seems to have worked  :) 8)
Now we’ll see what happens when the site moves.
