Connection problems

Tonight my members and I are experiencing a different error message whilst browsing around my forum - one I haven't seen before.  It's on a blank white screen and says:

"Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later."

Any ideas?

My first thought would be "Crap host".

That sort of error is quite common with oversellers.

Have a word with your host, to see if they can help you out. But, don't be surprised if they try to sell you an upgraded package.
