After installing the dutch language pack, the view is dirupted

Hallo, (form a newbie)

I installed 2.0 beta today and it worked, at least what I tried to do.
But because I want it to speak dutch, I downloaded the UTF8 dutch language pack
made it the default with a 'desastrous' result ... the menu's were not any more nicely presented
over and under (really under) each other ... not usable, and I could not reset it to English ...

Maybe this info is useful?

Now using the stable 1.7.... version  :)

Not sure, but are you still after help or did you just tell us you had an issue and went back to 1.1.7?

If you still have the BETA 4 install up and having an issue can you please link to it so we can take a look.  Are you sure you downloaded the correct smf_2-0-beta4p language pack?

I think, I tried the correct language pack ... (all deleted because thinking:  beta was the problem ..)

And it was checked only locally so , even available, no link  would have been possible.
