I was wondering if that's the case but it seems awfully unlikely.  I guess I minus well start logging more things in log_online...

Yea, if you temporarily log the IP address's I guess you can work out what is going on ???

prehaps stickeng a counter like the one @ http://www.gtchat.de/main_en.html temporarilly might help confirm if its a real number... Downloadable in the "other" secrtion.

That should help to be a more accurate number. And maybe you can put in some simple php commands at the footer on every page for your IP - Hits and - Visitors or something like that ;)
