Hello,
i am in dire need of assistance.
i want to start a forum and use SMF with my registered domain name but I have no idea where to begin.

i need someone to help me understand the basic computer requirements to run the site, and teach me how to set-up and maintain the site.

I am willing to hire someone to assist me in building the site, but do not know where to begin looking for the help i need.

If you read through the doc site, it'll tell you how to install it, add mods, themes and all sort of other wunnerful stuff, too. :)
