How to use Password Protect Boards

Hi there.
Well I installed the Passwd Protect mod to my forum/site but I dont know how to use it, I was reading Installation Instructions for 2.0. And all I see are codes. But I dont know how to use them. Where am I suppose to put the code? In a post or something? I don't understand how to use these codes or what I'm suppose to do after the Psswd Protect package is installed in my site.
Please help. Gosh I'm so exhausted from messing with this thing all night LOL!
