Display guests as IP's

I'd like to show guests on the board as IP's, and not as "Guests".
I want to display it at the bottom of the index page on the "Users online" and where it shows who's viewing the topic.
Is this possible? I've seen this done with IPB, so I'd like it for SMF too.

Hi, welcome to SMF! :) It's possible by doing modifications to the code, but as it's just not the way to go (you take away the privacy of guests by doing that), I'm afraid I can't tell you how to do that.

If you were to do this than not just you, but even other guests could would have access to IP's. What exactly are you trying to accomplish with this?

I wanted it because of certain people syping on my forum.

As an administrator you can see the user IP's.
