Mambo Installation

Dear Sirs
I have a Mambo 4.6.x website (that I have really struggled to get running as I am a n00b). The blog that comes with Mambo is not great so I found yours. I successfully downloaded and installed the latest version and the Mambo bridge and after I had tweaked a few things, my website stopped working. So I have uninstalled all the SMF and want to start again from scratch.
I have looked for a manual to do this and all I need is a couple of simple steps to install whatever I need to install and then tweak the settings so I can have a simple SMF blog inside my Mambo website.
Please can somebody help me
Thanks
Murray

Well, first of all, SMF is not a blog software.... It is forum software.
Second, we have not mconfirmed nor released a bridge for 2.0. So it is likely that SMF does not currently bridge to mambo -- until we (or someone) updates the bridge
