Converting phpbb to SMF 2 beta

Hi people,

Just discovered SMF and putting it through it's paces.
Quick question: Can I convert a phpbb forum to the v2 beta?  If so, do I use the same convert.php and .sql conversion files?

I'm not sure if there is currently a phpbb to smf2.x convertor.

However you would be find converting to smf 1.1.x and then upgrading to smf2.x
I know its a bit of a process, but I think thats the easiest way at the moment.

Please remember its 2.0 Beta 3 Public is the first public beta release.

Currently you cannot convert directly to SMF 2.x. You will just need to convert to 1.1.4 and then upgrade to 2.0 Beta 3 Public.
