SMF Basic Questions

Hi,

Two basic questions on using SMF (running latest SMF 2):

1.  Is there a way to make the posts chronologically descending?  (Latest first, then older ...)  I looked through the admin configuration settings but couldn't see any. 

2.  Is there a mod for batch uploading attachments?  My forum is picture heavy.  I've browsed through the list of packages and didn't see any, but thought the more veteran users could suggest something.

What are you looking for in "batch uploading attachments"? An attachment needs to be associated with a specific post, so I'm not sure what uploading a whole bunch at a time is going to do for you. There's not a big pool of orphan attachments waiting for some post to adopt them.
