Changing Avatars
rufus_t:
hello,
I cannot change my avatar using neither of the two options "I have my own pic" or "I will upload my own picture"
When indicating my pic, I can it (see attached images), but after clicking on "Change profile" nothing happens! There is no avatar for the profile, even if I get the message "Your profile has successfully been updated"!
The same thing when trying to upload a picture as avatar
I can only update the files available on the avatars folder using my cPanel from the hosting, then select the pic from there. But I don't want the avatar to be available to everybody, so I would prefere the options indicated above.
I have already chmod 777 the avatars and the attachment folders.
Please help!

I also have the same problem. when i try to upload an avatar, it says profile was changed successfully. but no picture, and when i look in the folder of where it is supposed to be there is no picture. It is the default folder. I also try to use a url, a picture will display until i click save and then it says updated successfully, but once again no avatar. I am using 2.0 beta 4. Uploading used to work; unfortunately i had to reinstall windows and i also upgraded so i don't know what caused the problem. could it be a setting in PHP config? or something else?
Thanks in advance
