Announcing the topic makes my post blank

This just in, when i goto modify my topic, and click on announce this topic, then save, next page shows up saying The message body was left empty.

Now what happened.

P.S : This was working fine before :(

Before what?

What did you change from when it was working to not working?  Though I haven't tested this myself in action to see if I can replicate the issue.
