Also, can I colour a word used for a hyperlink in my sig? I tried before and I could see the mark up language for it ...

Edit your signature and edit those [nofollow] things out :)

You can use [url=blah.com][color=red]Test[/color][/url] afaik.

The nofollow is added by the anti-spam mod on this site and will remain until you reach 25 posts.
