Successful Forum?

Jade Elizabeth:
Success is defined by you.

The difference between then and than is defined by English.
Then is when something happens after something, it's sequential.
Than is when you're comparing. This is bigger THAN that. THEN that is smaller THAN this.

Again, success is defined by YOU. If you think your forum is successful then it is, if you're reaching goals or getting to them then it's successful. If it doesn't feel like it is then maybe you need to take note of the little things - or ask your members what they think of your forum - if they love it and don't want it to vanish it's successful. A successful forum is one the members are proud to be part of :).

To be honest and a lil harsh most forums fail.

why well ..

1 there is already many sites the same
2 there are already many sites the same
3 it goes on

and yes its soooo hard to get off the ground something new whats new most has been done but keep battling away keep pushing when you get a good member cling on to them... but don't expect it to happen overnight.

And as Jade said its defined by you

I'd agree with this.
It all depends on what you want to achieve.

I agree with this, there are so many forums but when you think about it there are so little subjects.

My forum is hidden from the public and not open to new members, but between the five members we have, including myself, we have accumulated over 4,000 posts in 350 topics.  I consider that a success  :D

Now 5524 posts in 444 topics by 5 members  :D
