database connection errors

Ok, over the last month or so my meassgae board has been getting these errors quite a lot

So, I contacted the host company, and this is what they said....

What script am I supposed to be checking? And at this point what do I change to make everything better?

You could, as a possible measure, follow the first tip on the '24 things to make your forum faster' thread in the Servers & Configuration board - but that is only a stop-gap.

The bottom line is that your host is not really giving you the resources you need. Changing the number of posts in one page wouldn't really make a lot of difference.
