I just installed SMF to my host service.  When I put in my address into the URL It will not go to my site but if I add /index.php to the end of it, it will go to my forum then.  How can I fix this issue. Thanks.

Odd, that. Most browsers will automatically look for index.php, if you don't type it.

I mean, look at

http://www.simplemachines.org/community

and

http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php

What happens if you try another browser?

You might want to check that index.php is set as a DirectoryIndex directive in the Apache Config. Of course you could create a temp fix with a .htaccess.

It does the same thing when I try another browser, and I used it yesterday and did not have to put the index.php in, but this morning I do again.  Im not sure how to find my apache config folder to check the directory index.

I noticed when I put the address in without www. it does this problem but when I add www. and put the full address in there it does not do it.
