Are any of you that are using PostImage.org's service seeing the porn links inserted at the top of some images?
I've had to disable the mod ... which I really like because it addresses one of SMF's shortcomings (the ability to post pictures inline with the text) ... because of porn links on the PostImage.org page. It was actually embarrassing; my family-orientated board devoted to boat building had a member who posted a picture of his boat and family, including his 12 year old daughter. Above the picture on PostImage.org was a giant link saying "Meet Hot Young Teens in New York!" (the city changed by IP location).
The folks at PostImage.org have not responded to my inquiry, so I thought I'd ask if anyone else has seen this.

I know it provides the tags to place within the body text, but does it change the default action so the images show up on a "Preview" just as they do after posting? SMF doesn't upload the images until the poster clicks the "Post" button, and I don't think your mod changes that.
I'm pretty sure I coded it to load them in on 'Preview',
But they aren't shown in 'Topic Summary' (below when writing a post). And they aren't shown on TinyPortal, or on the Recent posts.
I didn't have the most recent version, so I uninstalled it and installed the latest. Very nice mod, and it does give some of the functionality that is missing from the core SMF. The main disadvantage, that the poster cannot see the image he uploaded until he commits by clicking the "Post" button, still is there.
That's not really your issue, as SMF doesn't upload the image itself until you click "Post". I'll need to take a look to see what's under the hood to see if I can change it to upload the pic on clicking the "Preview" button as well.
At 'Preview' Stage I still don't think they have been uploaded. So my mod wouldn't have them.
Although I would prefer to be a 'Yes-Man' and says it is possible.
Personally I think it would be difficult to do. (I'm not sure I could do it)
Shame, it says there are no files to download at this time when I go to grab this mod :(

theres some problems leftover from the server issue -- many files were corrupted, we're still evaluating the extent of the damage as well as what options we have for recovery

I know this thread is old, but just to clarify something I found out, postimage.org did not have their system hacked for the porn links. It was someone on my system who had access to two user's passwords.
I'm back to using the system, and it works very well. Although just recently I'm getting an error, but I think I'll be able to resolve that.
