There are a few SMF smiley sets on the Mod site if you do a search, although they can be difficult to find amongst the mods. ;)

Lol, first thing I do when installing SMF is delete the default ones. I tend to use Invision smilies which look the part

but how do you get the new ones on

Just like the theme so you can understand why some people keep asking. I find it very strange that SMF don't wish to use their own default theme or the smilies on there very own forum...........................
