Individual topics do not have viewing permissions....    There is a mod for that, but probably won't be a feature.

thank you for your attention.

there is not mod working fine with SMF 2.0.x

all mods for this feature working fine with SMF 1.x.x

but why probably won't be a feature? it's very important and i's in All Other Forums
why it's not on SMF ?

Well, I certainly don't think it's all that Important....   :P

I also don't believe that "it's in all other forums"
Additionally, just because someone else does something is not a valid reason for us to also do it...

Finally...  Although I have seen a few people asking for it, it is certainly not something that is in high demand.

hi

Let me explain:

Search in google or here in community to see How many people want this feature
(smf View Own Topic)

This feature enables you to set up a special board between members & Admins For support For example, in medicine or website support or other

for Example  see image in Attachments.

It's not in every other forum system (I have had licences for all of the major ones)

It's actually less helpful than you'd think - experience of running forums tells me it only helps in very specific circumstances, and most of those can be better managed in other ways, e.g. frequently it's used to handle group requests, which should be handled with the group request feature. Other cases are people using it to mimic a help desk, for which the help desk mod should be used instead.

It's also a major performance hit, so slowing every single forum down for a feature less than 1% of the forums use is bad for SMF.

No, I don't see, that's the point. I want to understand what you want to use this for, so that instead of you fixing on a single way to achieve it which you can't have, I can suggest an alternative.

For example... it sounds like a helpdesk like SimpleDesk might actually be what you are looking for.
