SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
I was wondering has anyone documented SMF specific upgrades to PHP & Mysql I am running the v4 level as per spec but would there be any advantage to be at a higher level? or is this just bleeding edge thinking?

It's best off, if you're not having any issues with your current installation to not touch anything, as you may break things if you do.

You should be fine on PHP 5.0.x, I am not sure on 5.1.x (haven't tested yet). MySQL 5.0 should also work (I believe any minor fixes for that are included in the RC2 package).

There really aren't any major benefits to upgrading, unless some other app you want to run requires the newer versions.

Thanx I was wondering if there was a compelling reason to change & there is not!
