Karma Mods don't work with current version of SMF

At least two Karma Mods don't work with current version of SMF.
I tried to install Karma Description Mod and KarmaLog with no sucsess

I have both of these modifications installed with SMF 1.1RC2, which is the current latest version of SMF, succesfully.  Did you by any chance try to install these modifications on themes other than default?  I would suggest posting on the support threads for those mods as it sounds more like you need help with the mods to me.
