Sort Messages by Post Date?

I hope you understand what I mean by this, but, is there any way to sort messages by the date the message was actually posted in order? Thanks

Now, any idea about how I can have it automatically default to the first_post setting? I was thinking about a permanent redirect? What do you think?

Well, I tried the Permanant Redirect and it wouldn't work from CPanel...

This would be very helpful for me too maybe, I converted my board from YaBB Gold to SE and then to SMF, but threads are sorted backwards now unless a new reply comes in which case it corrects itself.
