Similar to the older BB style, some people on my board would like to see a tree style view. Is this already possible? I can't find it if it is. Can it be a mod?

What do you mean by tree view? Have you got an example?

Along this line [nofollow], it's just like an expanded tree in viewing files on your PC. Minus the annoying lower frame, of course.

Those are called threaded forums. SMF is a flat forum, so no you can't do that sorry.
