for some reason... but what i wanted to do is backup all the posts and users and database and everything... i dont know how to do it...i dont want to backup anything like the themes or such..
i want the whole structure of the forum i made to be same when i reinstall it and such...but what are the procedures to do so please help

The only file you really need to backup/save is settings.php which contains filepaths and database connection information.
All the other files you can just overwrite with the orginal SMF files.

This will keep your posts and board information which is stored seperately in the database.

To add to what vbgamer45 said, you should also keep the attachments folder as it contains the files you have attached to your posts and avatars uploaded to your forum, if any.
