Google Gadgets for your website was interesting. I was hoping to find something quite interesting for my website. While looking around I stumbled on a smileys gadget. At first I thought it was crap, but then I thought about it and tried to integrate it with my forum. First attempts were total failures as I tried to put a wide gadget into a side block for TinyPortal. Finally, I decided to just drop it below the message box. Because my skills in mod developing were poor, I decided to base the modification off Simple ImageShack, and permission was obviously granted

After feeling that it was too big and ugly, I decided to actually make it look like it was tightly integrated with the forum. First attempts basically stuffed my testing site. Eventually, I got it right. Now, I have moved the position of the box below the normal smileys list plus allowed it to close/expand! I am very close to completion indeed!

Latest version: 0.9.2.2 for 1.1.3 ONLY

Started package from SimpleImageShack again
File renames to seperate from SimpleImageShack, and stop conflicts if you have SiS
Image rotator and stuff is now accessed from your website
Better look, also uses theme css

Successfully Installed "Free Smileys Mod". SMF 1.1 RC3, but copy and paste to post is not working. Or how can I insert a smiley after I "Fetch another Smiley" on a post?

Thanks for the great code. Very simple and east to set up.

I changed the display.php code to make it easier for my noobs to use...

Added a text box above the smiley.
Text box contains the image url plus img tags.
Users clicks box to select all text.
User then can copy and paste url into message box.

I added a small how to line to the code.

I got the following error:

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

This was after I made the edit suggested in the description here.

Perhaps that edit is no longer necessary?

Unfortunately I do not have time to update everything - I visit many forums, am developing a firefox theme, etc so I must share time between things. But the holidays have started. I might get the latest version done sometime, and will sport a few differences.

Unfortunately it still won't install for me either as is or with the suggested change to add in 1.1.1 to the install file.

I understand you are busy rctxtreme and please just get to the update when you have the time.  I know I have enough things to keep me plenty busy!

I've updated it. But since it works for others (and 1.1.1 is almost the equivalent of 1.1) it may be a problem with your forum.
