[SMF Converter] XMB - 1.9.8

That is the one i used and it'll convert everything except for the topics or posts.  well i guess that's not everything then.  but i've tried to convert numerous times, is there a way for me to break it down and insert it into a sql table?

I was able to convert zamorc's forum w/o a problem.  He has a big board too.  So it should be working on yours.  If you PM me FTP info I can look into it.

Were you able to do it? i'd still like to convert my previous xmb board to xmf, but haven't gotten word back from you on if this was succesful or not.

hey, its me again it looks like my post got lost in all the chaos, iv been trying to convert a forum for the last month or so but everyimte i try and convert it, it thinks for a while then display a blank page with step=1 in the URL, when i open up the forums after, the converter has succesful converted all the users but has not converted anything else

any ideas on what he problem could be?

well i figured out what that problem was... the converter was overloading the server when it tried to convert our quarter million private messages. So i cleared out all the user's private messages and tried again, this time i got this error:

Converting topic notifications... Unsuccessful!
This query:

    INSERT INTO `othfo3_smf`.smf_log_notify
    (ID_MEMBER, ID_TOPIC)
    VALUES ('70', '787'),
    ('70', '723'),
    ('70', '44'),
    ('5', '2'),
    ('36', '28'),
    ('62', '32'),

... these numbers continue for quite a while

then at the end...

Caused the error:

    Duplicate entry '78-10832-0' for key 1

themortalgod the query might need to be optimized a bit for PM's I'll look into that.  About the log_notify dup key it should be ignoring duplicates.

A WHOLE LOT OF VALUES

and then.

Caused the error:

    Duplicate entry '2-210-0' for key 1

Any ideas?

Tried overwriting it again, cleared out the db. Question? Does it need to share the same database?

No it does not need to be in the same database.  I still can't understand why it's not doing the INSERT IGNORE INTO like it should.  Can you please PM me the FTP info so that I can look into it?
