Link to Mod

Adds PM info, similar to 1.0x versions, to the header area.  Ex:  "You have 5 messages, 3 are new".  This will be added above the "Show unread posts since last visit" link.  In the example above, "5 messages" is a clickable link to your PMs.

Tested with 1.1.1 and also TP.  Works on default theme.

This works good on RC3 too, just extract it, open package-info with wordpad, edit it from 1.1.1 to 1.1 RC3, rezip it and install.

Thanks for letting me know.  I'm pretty sure it will work with all of the 1.1 version.  I'll update the package later to also include 1.1 RC3.

Great mod, works like a charm on 1.1.1!

Thanks!

Excellent, just what I needed, and works like a charm.

Looks and works just fine here. Now to find one more row of text to cram in there. ;)

Glad it works for you.  What more do you want to add?

I haven't figured that bit out yet but, well, I'll think of something. It just, you can see the link in my signature, looks like it needs another line. Something to give it a bit of balance. Other than that, fantastic stuff.

Just registered on your site.  I create MS Office automation applications for my job, so I think I'll frequent your site from time to time.
As for the header area, I'm sure we can think of something. ;)
Also, that little " G³ Solutions Network" block with the Blog menus and such....Where did that come from?  Is that a mod or something you pieced together?  I like it and could certainly use something like that myself.

I just hacked it into the template. I'll PM you the code if you want or a more advanced version that shows different stuff depending on the user's levels.

Sure, sounds good.  Thanks!

Sent with a slight modification to it so that the links now work in IE. They weren't before. (Thus it looks pretty goofy but, well, it works.)

LOL That was posted here in the SMF forum. I figure it is still winter (it is snowing like mad here) so I'll leave it for a while longer. Killer Possum made it if I recall.

Should work fine with 1.1.2.  Haven't updated my forum yet though.  As for making it work with a custom theme, just open the modification.xml file and perform the listed madifications manually to your theme.

Just an idea/request - Could you do the same thing with "show own posts". I'd love to have that in the Header Area.
