Post waiting time - based on member group?

In ACP/Forum/Posts and Topics/ there is a feature called "Time required between posts from the same IP?"
I have been informed there is no way of setting this up on a member group level. It was suggested that I put in a mod request.

There is already a mod that does something very similar: Custom Edit Times by Rudolf

The advantage of being able to base posting time delay on member groups is that you can force new people to wait X amount of time, but your trusted long time members won't be inconvenienced by it.

It would also make more sense if instead choosing which groups will be affected; to choose which ones will be exempt from the rule. Or even possibly able to set different waiting periods for different groups.

the problem i am having with it is .. that its not allowing me to use it based on custom groups.. it makes the post group overide the custom groups..

i dont have the board setup for special privies based on post groups..

but for some reason it makes the post wait time based off whatever is on the post group..

i want all my regular members to wait 45seconds

and my supporting members to have no wait
