[REQUEST] Avatar choice per post

I'm looking for a modification that allows the following:

-A user can upload more than one avatar.
-Of the avatars uploaded, a user can select a default avatar.
-A user can select which avatar to display per post.
-If an avatar is not selected, the default avatar is displayed.

This is functionality that I've seen on LiveJournal and GreatestJournal, but I haven't been able to find it on any of the forums or boards available.  I'd really like to see it available for Simple Machines.

Please let me know if there's any interest in such a mod.  If no one is up for creating it, I might tackle it myself... but I've never made a mod and I know very little about coding.
