Hello,

I have a small problem.
When writing a new thread and placing a link, I cannot place links with more than 14 letters inside (14 letters between www. and .com).

For example:

when I want to place a link to http://www.motorradklassiker.de
with [ url]http://www.motorradklassiker.de [ /url], I am getting this thing displayed:

er.de" target="_blank">http://www.motorradklassik er.de

But when I'm trying to write e.g. www.motorradklassi.de, everything is working fine. It doesn't matter which URL, it just has to be shorter than 14 letters.

Has anybody an idea, what could be the reason of this problem?

Thanks a lot,
Ravey76

Hi,

You have your "Break up words with more letters than:" set too short. Goto Admin > Edit Features and Options and change the value to something larger.

Hello Ben,

thank you a lot - this was 100% perfect!  :)

You are right, I had this setting set to 15 letters; thought it's a nice feature. But it's not so nice that this feature splits up even LINKS!

I deactivated it and I don't think I'm going to turn on this feature again ... now all works fine again!

People have said this before about that feature breaking up links, but even if I just did a url tag and then 10,000 characters and the feature didn't break off links, you'd have a big problem too. :D You can set that fairly high without it breaking most theme's tables. 15 is really low, a person could go a lot higher with it and suffer no problems - shouldn't run into links with 60 characters often.
