Hey Everyone  -
I am the administrator at http://www.kitcar.ca [nofollow] . I have been running Simple Machines RC1 with great success - until today. Now, all of a sudden, PHP code is being printed out at the top of every page. I have not changed anything on the server within the last week, and have no idea what prompted this.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Ari

Edit the file "Settings.php" - Check if the line

Quote?>

is twice in the file. Once at the end and also somewhere in between. Delete this line. It must not be twice in the file but only once at the end (as last line).

Those are from YaBB SE's settings.php, they aren't in SMF's. Took me a while to find them lol.

Look right before the first line outputted to the browser, the one that starts with $ubbcjspath

No Problem - http://www.kitcar.ca/phpinfo.php [nofollow] .
Any ideas how this could happen just all of a sudden?

Wooh - Just checked out my server, it says settings.php was modified yesterday, even though I haven't logged into my server for a few weeks... I smell trouble.

Did you recieve an email generated by the forum stating something about a database error? If so could you give the precise text of that email? This would help to understand how the problem came into being.
