Auto notificationof replies by default

Hi

I would like to make it such that by default users who post at the forum would get an Email notification when someone replies to their  messages in the forum..

How do i do this?

Adjust the configuration...  It is oddly under the option to reset the theme's settings. "Turn notification on when...."

Is it under the Reset Theme setting or smwhere else?

Admin-->Themes and Layout-->Reset Options-->Reset all members' current options for this theme (under the theme you want)-->
Select "Change" next to "Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic."
Click the checkbox next to "Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic."
Click Save.

That should work.

But this only works for existing members doesn't it?
I'd like a way to set the default for new members too, otherwise I have to keep resetting this notification on the theme to hit the new members that registered since the last time I did it.
