Refferal system with SMF Shop mod......How good can this be?

I was just wondering how good can a Referral system be integrated with Daniel15's SMF Shop mod?
I was wondering about the mod which adds a refferal system. I quite liked it and then thought I can add a system that whenever a user registers, the one whom it reffered to gets some forum's credits(Lets say 100).
How good can this be?

There is already some functionality in the referrals mod to give credits when referred. The 'easter eggs' I've "laid" are a single line of code that just needs to be uncommented. See the referrals mod topic for more details.
