Just converted from IPB 1.1.2, and get the following....

The number in parenthesis changes for different topics, but the error is consistent.


I just recently converted to SMF,  and haven't had much time to learn the ins and outs just yet, so any ideas or hints are greatly appreciated.

Please try going to Admin -> Forum Maintenace, and from there choosing "Recount all forum totals and statistics" and then "Find and repair all forum errors".

I looked over quite a few before initially deciding on IPB about a year ago, and if you were around then I certainly missed the boat.

SMF was around a year ago, but it was still in development at that point. The first public release didn't come out until March.
