Can I make it possible for guests to post messages without giving their emails? I changed the settings so that guest can post messages but I can't find any setting that turns off the email field when posting..

If you do this, be warned that your board will be spammed. It's hard enough to avoid spam with rigorous measures in place let alone nothing.

Agreed.  Forum suicide.
The spam gates would open and the flood will come....
Tons of posts on Viagra, iphone, porn, medical pills this and that, it goes on and on. You'd spend hours moderating your forum, rather than growing it :D

yes not recommended to do.

i would rather build my forum than moderating my forum every day.

Agreed, I receive spam already from "guests", and I couldn't see why guests should need access to the forums anyway, so I'm just pulling their access to boards all together. :).
Always looking to take on a web design/ programming job :], PM me if interested.
