Moving posts

I've looked all around and I cannot find a way to move posts from one topic to another.

I see the split function, but that seems to only work to set up a new topic. I want to move a post to an existing topic.

What am I missing here?

first you need to split the one post you want to move

then goto that new topic its created, and then merge it with the topic you want it to be in...
