Link to the theme


The Matrix Online MMO inspired theme.  Which is based on the Matrix trilogy.

Can also be used as a dark Matrix styled theme.

Also includes TinyPortal version of the theme.

Rumbaar you are an excellent theme designer and a great help also :). Let me be the first to say thank you for making such a great theme, and congrats it looks really good.

Well I just base my theme/s on the excellent work of those who have come before me.  The Core theme and Babylon themes have helped me immensely.  But thank you for your kinds words and praise, it is greatly appreciated.

The Matrix trilogy is one of my abosolute favorites.  I looked all over for a theme for this when setting up my forum and couldn't find one. hhhmmmmmmmm.......

just may have to change.

It is beautiful.  Plus carries a great message.

Yeah I've been running a MxO related site for the last couple of years, and when I came to SMF looked for a Matrix related theme.  Alas couldn't find any, so I thought I'd rectify that myself :)

If you looking for any customization, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

OMG  its absolutely  gorgeous.  I mean its  jaw dropping..  I love love love the dark cordoroy  look to the  background    and  well its  just great.   The one thing I would love to see though is a color change.  I realize its a mighty big ask.  But  Oh  my a deep blue  or  burgandy   mmmm   or  even  a combo  of the two with some   well you have it going on  in the complimenting colors and in fonts  so please if you  are up for it I'd pay for that  type of  satisfaction oh yes!!..  Consider it please?

Glad you like it, it was very basic adjustments.  You're more than welcome to edit the theme yourself.  Most of those colors are defined in the style.css and are quite easy to change.

Not sure of the compliments colors of deep blue and burgandy, you got any examples?

Oh  my  I am  so excited and did not  expect  to  hear  back  from  you this quick. 
 
On  the colors  ..  I am  lame  I  can  tell you ..  I  do  like the dark  background  like you have  here.  I   don't  know if  they  compliment  each  other  either  .. This  theme  is   just   so   perfect  perhaps  having  other  colors   mixed  in  would   take  away  from  the effect.   I will like  your    ideas  I am  sure  and  if  its  easy  to edit  I can  make  changes.   I   have  tried  to  do that  on  some of  the themes  but  I still can not  figure  out  which  places  affect  which  areas in the forums  on the css  form.  Its  absolutely  a new  area   for me..  Learning  php ,  and  css  and html..  Its  actually  quiet  overwhelming   when you  have  no  experience at all.  Its  like  walking into a new land that   you do not  speak or  understand  the native language.  You feel  so  lost, frustrated  and  not  understood  and  very  ignorant .. like you are a bother  to others.    So  I  would be thankful to see  what  colors you  find  go  well  in  any shade really  ...  you  obviosly  did   really  good  with  the greens  ..  Perhaps  a blue  or  brown  or    burgandy or  a burt  red - orange.  I  think this  theme is   one  of the best  I  have seen.   Bloc  is  amazing  too  but  this  is  right  up there.   Kudos.

I'm  looking  for  colors  that  i  truely  enjoy  as  far  as the  background   and   will  give you  those  shades  then  as  far  as the  lighter  shade  to  go  with the effect  .. i shall leave that  to  you ?  Will that  help?  Think  very  dark  in the  background  though.

burnt redish  #73120E
burgandy #770E26
purple blue #510B5B

This is clearly  just examples  of  the colors  i  find   dark  enough    for background ..  you  have free  reign  to  let  those   creative  juices  flow  k?

Well I try to respond to my themes as soon possible.

I recommend getting FireFox and Web Developer addon.  This tool will allow you to see what style and underlying code you need to change to change the colors yourself.  It's quite easy for you change it yourself, give it a go :)

Oh and please don't compare my crappy themes with Bloc's, he's are truly great creations where as mine are just rips and slight changes to the CORE theme (which I'm sure Bloc had a major design presence).

But thank you for your kind words, I'm humbled.

So give the changes a try, it is very simple and I'm sure you'll be able to do it.  I'll try to guide you.  You can even try the Online Manual for tips and pointers.
