This is because of the new timout setting. I can confirm this.

The new timeout setting is really annoying.

I was trying to find a particular topic and required doing searches for several search terms and was a bit of a pain when
a) using the quick/simple search box in the header for a word with quote had the 'unescaped slashes' so no results found
b) I then misspelled the keyword, and then had to wait
c) I then had to wait after each search which wasnt what i was after.
