This mod adds a box on the Registration form for users to input their Gender/Sex.

To enable this mod you must go to "Admin Control Panel" > "Features and Options" and check "Show gender on registration form?".

English and Portuguese (ISO and UTF8) languages included.

Does this stop users registering if they do not enter a gender?

It doesnt look like it to me.

It appears to copy the male/female/unsure for the profile area. (where setting a gender isnt mandatory)

So how is this any different from this ?

@LPCA ... All be it that ones no longer updated it has a few comments / suggestions you might want to implement into yours that makes a person HAVE to choose a gender etc... but ya other than a few small minor differences how is yours different from his ?

This shows no text on the registration page it just shows : also no text in the layout options again its just : I am using 1.4 so how can I get people to see what they are choosing?

The options are there just not the text asking for the gender.

please can u tell me the code to make it compulsory to select the gender.

it is not compulsory to select gender by default in this mod.

Just find options in Register.php or where are they put (I modded my forum manually, but it seems to be same) and remove unsure option... That way male will be selected and chosen unless user changes it...

Nice mod. Helps to keep the male-female ratio in the board statistics more accurate.

Will this be updated for SMF 2.0?
