Need help in stop IP log to public and karma

I have one SMF forum.
And the problem is all member's IP show to public !!! I enabled karma system for negative/xxx rating but don't know where member can rating the karma for other member ? i saw only +/-
And how to make people must login or register before view the board. ?

Don't know what could cause the IP -addresses to show,

but the karma system adds buttons for giving + or - above the members avatar in each post he/she makes.

And to make the forum closed from public, you have to change the settings accordingly. Right now I don't have an SMF board to look up where,
but in my xsorbit -board its Admin -> Features and options -> Allow guests to browse the forum
